On 6th July 2011, the Club celebrated its 75th anniversary with a group of walks in the Great Alms Cliff area, the site of the very first walk.  More details are here.

The Club also has an active social programme at any time, as you can see from the details below.  Contact us for more information about any of the items.

SUNDAY 4 DECEMBER - Christmas Coach Ramble to Settle

Coach leaves Trinity at 9 a.m.

Three grades of walk will be offered: long, medium and short.

Afterwards a three course dinner has been arranged at the Falcon Manor Hotel, Settle, where washing and changing facilities will be provided.

To book please send a cheque for £25 made out to Harrogate Rambling Club to Catherine Siklos, 43 Chatsworth Place, Harrogate, HG1 5HR.

Please choose your meal from the menu shown in the printed programme and state your preferences when booking.

FRIDAY 17 FEBRUARY - Annual Club Dinner at Ascot House

The guest speaker will be Janet Niepokojczycka, well known for long walks in the Lake District and Scotland and whose subject will be “Pack Horse Days and Pack Horse Ways”

The cost of the dinner will be £25, including complimentary tea or coffee.

Please send cheques made payable to Harrogate Rambling Club to John McCormack, 36 Fairways Avenue, Harrogate, HG2 7EH and state your menu choices from the menu in the current walks programme.
